We talk to supers everyday who are weary of making changes, haven’t seen enough data or are simply comfortable dealing with their current rep. Whatever your reason, we’re simply here to make your job and any associated decisions as easy as possible.

Aquaritin is a revolutionary new turf management product that is quickly gaining popularity among golf course superintendents. In this blog post, we will address some of the most common points of contention that superintendents have about Aquaritin, and explain why using Aquaritin could be beneficial for all golf courses.

“Aquaritin Defend continues to be in every greens application at 6oz/acre into fall and winter. It stays in through our snow mold/ seedhead suppression application. Aquaritin Defend is also used in snow mold applications for tees and fairways but will likely use Aquaritin 19 this year.”

“I was blown away! Absolutely blown away. So, we went ahead and sprayed all of our fairways with it, and again I was blown away with the color response we got. The density increased. It was Just a better standard of turf in all those areas. Aquaritin products to me, 19 and Aquaritin Defend are well worth their weight in gold. It's just a matter of getting them out, utilizing them and seeing (through the golfer’s eyes) what results they get.”

Point of Contention #1: I'm too busy to look at new products

It is understandable why you might be hesitant to try a new product like Aquaritin. After all, you’re already busy with your day-to-day tasks, and  may not have the time to research new products and make changes to your existing programs. However, as we all know, the turf management industry is constantly evolving, and new products are being developed all the time. You don’t still ride around on 30 year old mowers and rollers do you? By keeping up with the latest trends and technologies, you can ensure that you’re using the best possible products and practices to maintain your course.

  • Aquaritin is easy to use and requires no special training.
  • Aquaritin can be applied with any standard sprayer.
  • Aquaritin is compatible with other turf management products.

"I started using Aquaritin in 2019 and I haven't looked back. It has been a consisted part of my program ever since. The plant response from it is some of the best I have seen from any product. "When I tell people about Aquaritin, I say it’s almost like giving the turf a steroid shot. I just remember how good the turf looked the next morning after the spray. I was blown away!"

Point of Contention #2: My current program works just fine

We get it, you’re proud of your current turf management programs and the hard work you’ve put into it. Most courses start using Aquaritin as an add on to their existing program. Once they see the results, they’re able to back off other inputs and maintain quality greens. What Aquaritin offers that other inputs doesn’t is ease of use, the ability to spray less, water less and maintain playability. We work with courses who have completely eliminated their granular nitrogen apps and are seeing better conditions overall.

  • Aquaritin can be used to supplement existing turf management programs.
  • Aquaritin can help to improve the results of existing programs.
  • Aquaritin can help to reduce the costs of existing programs.

Point of Contention #3: How can such a small dosage have an impact on any kind of any kind on my turf?

Aquaritin is a nano fertilizer, which means that the nutrient particles are between 1-30 nanometers. By comparison the average human hair is 70,000nm. This allows for almost instand nutrient absorption by the plant, and it also means that less fertilizer is needed to achieve the same results. You may be skeptical that such a small dosage of fertilizer can have a significant impact on your turf. There is a growing body of research that supports the use of nano fertilizers. For example, a study published in the journal HortScience found that nano fertilizer was more effective at improving turf quality than traditional fertilizer.

In addition to existing research, we simply ask that you take a look at what your peers have to say.

  • Aquaritin is a nano fertilizer, which means that the nutrient particles are very small. This allows the nutrients to be absorbed more easily by the plant, and it also means that less fertilizer is needed to achieve the same results.
  • Aquaritin has been shown to improve turf quality, root growth, and stress tolerance.
  • Aquaritin can help to reduce fertilizer use and costs.

Point of Contention #4: Never heard of Aquaritin

Completely understandable. Aquaritin is a relatively new company, but it has quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality products and is currently used on several PGA tour courses. Aquaritin is also backed by a team of experienced scientists and turf professionals. Again, if there is ever any doubt, our products are in use across the US, Canada and Europe with nothing but excellent feedback from the courses using it.
